The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a clinical setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic and internal medicine. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations. Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and explaining procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow within the clinic. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Participate in ongoing training and development related to clinic operations and patient care. Skills Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with federal workmans' compensation. Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus but not necessary.
