Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital setting and contribute to the well-being of patients.Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
Requirements:
- Must speak spanish
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent education
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Experience with medication administration under the supervision of healthcare providers
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
