Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. Duties:
  • Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Assist with patient examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information
  • Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Must speak spanish
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent education
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
  • Experience with medication administration under the supervision of healthcare providers
  • Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
