This is a 1099 independent contractor position during the temporary period , with the potential to transition into a full-time position.
Compensation:
1099 independent contractor basis during the temporary period. This is a great opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative environment. Job Requirements and Qualifications:
(may include but not limited to) Duties Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and care Prepare patients for visits by taking and updating a detailed medical history updating and clearly explaining procedures Collect and process laboratory specimens, ensuring proper handling and documentation for accurate test results Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, adhering strictly to safety protocols Manage patient records electronically maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in documentation Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals to specialists seamlessly, preform prior authorizations Maintain a clean organized clinical environment that complies with infection control standards Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required; active certification is essential for eligibility (If you do not have a current and valid certification please do not apply) Prior experience working in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; on the job training will be provided for motivated candidates Strong understanding of medical terminology, basic anatomy, and clinical procedures is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems or practice management software is a plus Join us in delivering compassionate healthcare with energy and dedication!
