Full Job Description Medical Assistant Location:
Las Colinas, TX Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Las Colinas, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems. Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk duties as needed. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems. CPR certification preferred. Work Environment This position is based in a medical office located in Las Colinas, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of medical supplies, and direct patient interaction.
