Job Description

Private medical practice based in the Houston area, Brown Pathology is seeking a Pathologists' Assistant to join our group at our Katy location. This is a day time position Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant training program
Certification:
ASCP Certified Experience:
(Preferred) At least 1-year experience with highly complex specimens. Recent graduates will be considered. Dragon voice recognition software experience a plus
Responsibilities:
Gross description and complete dissection of all simple and complex surgical specimens. Frozen section service. Assist in certain specialized procedures or projects as designated by the Pathologists. Tissue procurement for special studies. Assist with conference preparation as needed. Coordination of gross room work flows and personnel for efficiency.
