Job Description:
As a Medical Assistant at PediPlace, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our healthcare practice. You will work closely with our medical staff to provide outstanding care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Perform phlebotomy and collect lab specimens. Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution. Certification as a Medical Assistant CPR and BLS certification. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Compassion and empathy for patients. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
