The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting providers, optimizing patient flow, and ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to follow-up care. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a genuine passion for patient care. Responsibilities:
Clinical Support Prepare patients for examination and treatment Obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and pertinent clinical information Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and patient care Support pre-operative, procedural, and post-operative workflows Assist with patient transfers and mobility when needed Perform delegated medical scribing duties accurately and efficiently Patient Experience Deliver compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Help ensure patients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their visit Operations & Workflow Prepare and maintain exam rooms and procedure areas Maintain sanitary and safety standards throughout the clinic Prepare patient charts and ensure accurate EMR documentation Manage inventory and maintain clinical supplies/equipment Support efficient clinic flow in a high-volume environment Travel to additional office locations as needed to support patient care Team Collaboration Participate in staff meetings and ongoing process improvement initiatives Collaborate closely with providers and team members to maintain exceptional standards of care Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, spine, neurology, surgery, or other fast-paced specialties is a plus EMR experience required Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
