Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant for Ortho Practice About us We are looking for a Bilingual Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to open a new location for the West Texas Spine Institute in Lubbock, Texas. We are looking for a strong, experienced orthopedic, bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team to ensure smooth daily operations. Orthopedic, pain management, chiropractic, physical therapy, and/or neurology experienced is preferred. Our Medical Assistants work front & back office. Bilingual is required (Spanish)! The Medical Assistant Opportunity offers the follow includes, but not limited to, standard medical assistant tasks such as obtaining vital signs, assisting with exemptions, preparing patients for procedures answering phones, handling medical records requests, insurance verification, greeting and rooming patients, inputting demographics, maintaining supplies and equipment in the clinic, accurately recording in the electronic health record. Qualifications:
Must be BILINGUAL, Spanish & English
  • Medical Assistant (MA)
  • Proficient in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and medical office software.
