Job Description

We want you to join our team! The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders has more than 60 cancer specialists and 400 healthcare professionals representing many different areas of medical and administrative services across 22 locations throughout North Texas. We can offer you a competitive salary and a complete benefits package with health benefits starting on day one. All full time employees are eligible for an annual profit sharing bonus. This position is for 3 days in Mansfield and 2 days in Fort Worth each week Medical Assistants are responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of clinic.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must be Nationally Certified Medical Assistant Must be able to communicate with patients, peers, physicians and the general public. Must have telephone communication and etiquette skills. Must have basic computer skills, including word processing, keyboarding and ability to learn computerized scheduling system. Professional appearance, able to handle multiple tasks, and be a team player.
