This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient healthcare operations by managing and organizing vital medical documentation. You will work closely with our vet techs to support seamless patient care and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting healthcare delivery, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Maintain and organize patient medical records with precision, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date. Retrieve, file, and manage electronic health records (EHR) using specialized systems to facilitate quick access for healthcare providers. Verify the accuracy of medical records by reviewing documentation for completeness and consistency with medical terminology. Assist in the scanning, indexing, and digitization of paper-based records into electronic systems. Support the preparation of medical records by compiling relevant documentation efficiently. Follow established procedures for record retention, storage, and secure disposal in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Skills Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly desirable. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or similar digital record management tools. Strong understanding of veterinarian terminology to accurately interpret and organize clinical documents. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of all medical records. Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and responding to record requests. Must be able to work every Wed-Sat 7:4-4pm. No exceptions.
