They are the first face our patients see, so must have a clean appearance, and be empathetic and excited to help our patients. Professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service are essential for providing excellent patient care. Must be fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in typing and 10-key. As a Medical Assistant, you will be integral in delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a healthcare setting. Reporting to the healthcare provider, your core responsibilities will include managing patient intake, recording vital signs, and utilizing EHR systems. Your organizational and communication skills, along with proficiency in medical terminology, will enhance patient interactions. Tasks include but are not limited to extensive record keeping and data collection, answering phones, recording medical histories and preparing patients for examinations and procedures, recording and refilling patient medications, referrals, venipunctures, and injections, preparing specimens, preauthorizations, EKG and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or doctor.
