We are a fast-paced environment with great teamwork. Available shift time is 8 AM
  • 5 PM . With some knowledge about making referrals MA may accompany the provider into the patient examination area in order to transcribe a history and physical examination as given by the patient and provider, and document accurately the physician's encounter with the patient and other present.
  • Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentially of person and financial information.
  • Observe signs and symptoms and reports to provider as often as needed or upon changes in patient's condition.
  • Revise and review patients' chart to make sure results and vitals are before provider goes into the exam room.
  • Assist with procedure and materials to provider as directed
  • Draw Blood.
Under the direction of the provider, transcribes patient's orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc, his or her decisions regarding that patient
Qualifications:
  • Certified Medical Assistant with proficiency in medical administrative support, patient care, and EHR systems
  • Strong background in basic life support, patient service, and medical terminology
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
