Job Description

We are looking for a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, value meaningful patient interactions, and excel at multitasking.
Our Services Neurosurgical Consultations :
Expert evaluations for a wide range of neurological conditions, including disorders of the brain and spine.
Follow-up Care :
Ongoing support to track progress, manage symptoms, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Patient Education :
Resources and guidance to help patients and families better understand their condition, explore treatment options, and practice effective self-care strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Interaction Reception & First Contact :
Greet patients warmly, assist with check-in, and create a welcoming environment.
Communication Hub :
Answer calls with professionalism, handle inquiries, share service information, and direct calls as needed.
Appointment Management :
Schedule and coordinate new and follow-up visits, ensuring smooth clinic flow and efficient resource use. Support referral coordination with other providers.
Administrative Support File Management :
Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant medical and office records.
Supply Oversight :
Monitor inventory to ensure essential items are stocked.
Regulatory Compliance :
Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and clinic policies. Qualifications & Skills Prior experience in a medical office or front desk role strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare processes a plus. Proficiency with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks and Cerner experience is a plus). Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical environment. Typing proficiency of at least 60 words per minute.
