Full Job Description Duties:
Performs selected nursing and administrative/clerical duties that assist in the management of our patient's care Patient Check in/ Check out. Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care Escorts patient to exam rooms Takes patient vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, etc.) Accurately records patient medications in chart / EMR Responsible for EKG, rhythm strip. (Proficiency Required) Assists physicians with patient exams as needed Responsible for Holter monitor hook-ups and removals, event recorders and Loop recorders Pulls patient charts when necessary Hours are
• Plano location Monday afternoon at 1 pm to 5 pm Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm to 5 pm Thursday morning at 7:30 to 9:30 am
•Carrollton location Tuesday morning at 8 am to 12 noon Thursday afternoon at 1pm to 5 pm Friday morning at 8 am to 10 am
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Medical Assistant working in a clinical capacity would be required Maintains cleanliness and supplies in patient exam rooms Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines Maintains current CPR certification At all times, protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times Performs other duties as required
