The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent patient service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Orthopedic and Podiatry Surgeon or hospital settings is highly desirable. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and preparing patients for X-rays Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all medical documentation is up-to-date Provide medical administrative support including, scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling medical coding. Must be a multitasker. Educate patients on treatment plans and provide instructions for follow-up care Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Must have Athena EMR experience . We are looking for a long-term employee. Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required Previous experience in a clinic or urgent care setting is preferred Proficiency in medical terminology and coding practices is advantageous Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare services while enhancing your professional skills in a supportive environment.
