Job description Are you a medical assistant with a fantastic personality who loves serving patients? Do you strive to be thorough and accurate with all of your work? At Kellum Family Medicine in you would do the following as a medical assistant: Assist medical providers with physical examinations Carry out nursing treatments and perform other health procedures under provider's orders Assist with charting and related administrative work Care for patients!
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or certification from an approved credentialing body for medical assistants is required. Two-year prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical environment or have successfully completed an externship within a Kellum Physician Partners clinic. Greets patients and obtains patient history and vital signs. Prepares patients for physical exam. Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests Maintains timely flow of patients Updates patient care plan under direction of medical provider. Orders, prepares, and inspects patient charts. Performs other tasks and related work as required. Provide a standard of excellence as it relates to customer service for patients• Maintains patient privacy according to HIPPA requirements. One year of E-Clinical works EMR experience is preferred

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
