Medical Assistant Elevated Primary Care Seabrook, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract $16.00 - $28.11 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Teamwork Vital signs HIPAA Medical scheduling Canva Full Job Description We are a growing, independently owned medical practice in the Clear Lake area providing personalized primary care, lifestyle medicine, weight management, hormone and sexual health services, and medical wellness & aesthetics in a modern, patient-focused environment. We are looking for a dependable, personable, and motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys working closely with patients and being part of a small, collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and wants the opportunity to grow with the practice. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medications, and medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Perform blood draws and specimen collection Administer injections as directed by the provider Assist with minor in-office procedures Prepare and clean exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Assist with medication refill requests, prior authorizations, and patient messages Coordinate referrals, imaging, laboratory orders, and outside records Document accurately in the electronic medical record Assist with scheduling, phones, and front-office responsibilities when needed Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and patient-safety standards Help keep daily clinic operations organized and running efficiently Support practice growth, community outreach, and occasional social media/marketing activities Preferred Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred Medical Assistant certification is a plus but not required for the right candidate Strong phlebotomy skills preferred Comfortable administering injections Excellent communication and customer-service skills Reliable, organized, and able to work independently Comfortable learning new technology and electronic medical records Professional, friendly, and confident interacting with patients Able to multitask in a smaller, fast-growing medical practice Extra Consideration Given To Candidates With Primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, or wellness experience Strong phlebotomy experience Prior authorization or insurance experience Experience creating social media content, Canva graphics, photography, or short-form video Interest in wellness, aesthetics, weight management, or preventive medicine What We're Looking For We are a small team, so personality and work ethic matter. Pay:
$16.00 - $28.11 per hour
