Job Description
GENERAL Position Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with minimum supervision. Communicates with office physicians about changes in the patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. The individual in this position needs to be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Graduate of an accredited School of Vocational Nursing or accredited Medical Assistant training program. Experience Previous experience in general nursing preferred; previous experience in a family practice setting highly desired. Knowledge Of Basic computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills.
Licenses / Certifications
/ Registries Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the State of Texas with renewal as required by law current or certified or registered as a Medical Assistant;
BLS OTHERS
