Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support to healthcare providers, assist patients through their visit journey, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and compassionate attitude will help create a welcoming environment for all patients while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and prepare them for examinations or procedures Assist healthcare providers during patient exams by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing necessary supplies Administer basic treatments such as injections, vaccinations, or wound care under supervision Manage patient records accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure confidentiality at all times Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals with specialists or labs Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and exam rooms to uphold safety standards Support administrative tasks including answering phones, managing patient check-in/check-out processes, and handling documentation Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred Proven experience in a clinical setting or healthcare environment is advantageous Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients of diverse backgrounds Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems required Certification such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a real difference!
