Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic operations. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to healthcare providers. Your skills in clinical procedures, medical documentation, and patient service will help ensure smooth clinic workflows and positive patient experiences. Duties Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as administering medications.. Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies are available for outpatient visits or hospital procedures. Document clinical notes with precise medical terminology, ICD coding for diagnoses, and detailed descriptions of patient interactions. Conduct basic life support (BLS) when needed and assist. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to support accurate patient assessment and documentation. Proficiency with EHR systems for charting, order entry, ICD coding, and medication documentation. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations across inpatient and outpatient environments. Competence in handling intake processes for various specialties like internal medicine while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is ideal for motivated Certified Medical Assistants eager to grow their expertise across multiple medical disciplines while delivering outstanding patient care in a collaborative environment.
