The ideal candidate will have experience in primary care settings and enjoy working closely with patients. This role involves supporting healthcare providers with clinical procedures, taking vital signs, assisting during examinations and minor procedures, and managing administrative tasks. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and delivering high-quality patient care. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a collaborative healthcare environment committed to excellent service.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with routine clinical procedures and examinations. Take and record vital signs of patients accurately. Support minor surgical procedures, including suture removal. Gather patient information and assist during examinations and treatments. Answer phone calls, greet patients, and schedule appointments efficiently. Prepare and maintain accurate medical records. Provide front desk coverage and coordinate referrals as needed. Handle basic administrative tasks within a small practice environment.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required. Certified Phlebotomy Technician is required. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a primary care or family practice setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Comfortable managing clinical and administrative responsibilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures is desirable.
