Job Description

Busy and fast-paced GI clinic is looking for outgoing, responsible individual to work as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
Duties include:
phone triage, prescription refills, rooming patients, electronic charting, scheduling appointments, answering phones and other duties as assigned. Full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday 7:50 AM to 5:00 PM. Previous medical assistant experience is a plus. Ideal candidate will have graduated from a medical assistant program and have a current certification (CMA) or registration (RMA) by either agency (American Registry of Medical Assistants or American Association of Medical Assistants). However, certification is not required for the position.
Spanish / English
bilingual skills a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess:
HS Degree Medical Assistant Certification or Registration preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of experience required Good verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills Works well both independently and in team setting We offer a great work environment, benefits and a competitive salary, based on experience.
