In this vital position, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers and patients alike, ensuring smooth office operations and exceptional patient experiences. NOTE:
Candidate must be fluent in both English and Amharic. Responsibilities Assist healthcare provider with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, weight and temperature. Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (blood draws), place electrodes/leads and operate EKG machine to obtain the pt tracing for providers interpretation, etc. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient medical charts/ records. Support medical office management by answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with laboratory procedures including specimen collection and processing while adhering to safety protocols. Must obtain or be current with HIPAA certification and blood borne pathogens training. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and facilitating smooth patient flow within the practice. Experience Prior medical office experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy is a plus. Must be quick learninger Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently and accurately. Demonstrated ability to handle fast-paced environments

$40,000.00 - $42,500.00 per year
