8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays 8:30am to 12pm (1-hour lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday thru Thursday) in Chesapeake, VA 23320.

Clinical Medical Assistant-TRIAGE :

As a Clinical Medical Assistant- TRIAGE (Internal Medicine), you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in a Family Practice setting. Self-motivated and reliable Medical Assistant who is desired to perform either triage or clinical secretary duties in a solo family practice setting. You must be courteous and have customer service skills, strong clinical skills, and accuracy. Your role is instrumental in the assessment process for the clinic visit which includes obtaining vital signs, and injections, performing EKGs and CLIA-waived lab tests, exam room preparation, and test result notification, completing follow-up phone calls to patients, assisting the provider during the patient's visit, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Clinical Medical Assistant-TRIAGE :

Required:

At least 1-year experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant, Registered or Certified is a PLUS but NOT required

Required:

Excellent computer skills required .

Required:

Ability to pass

Background Check and Drug Screen Required:

Must be reliable and a quick learner and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment

Clinical Medical Assistant-TRIAGE :

Preferred:

Medical office and electronic medical record experience.

Benefits:

$16.00-$18.00/hr (Depending on Experience) Weekly Pay OFF 1/2 day
