This position involves supporting the clinical staff, assisting with patient care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients succeed in their health goals and be able to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients with check-in, ensuring a welcoming experience. Take and record vital signs, including weight, height, blood pressure, and other key health metrics. Perform patient measurements and track progress at each visit. Administer EKGs, assist with lab draws, and coordinate lab results for providers. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Assist providers with patient care, including educating patients on weight loss medications, nutrition, and exercise as directed. Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper inventory of medical supplies. Provide support during patient consultations, including setting up equipment and assisting with procedures as needed. Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care. Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations at all times. Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude when interacting with patients, providing encouragement and support. Assist with patient scheduling, follow-ups, and any administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally in weight loss, primary care, or a related field. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices. Experience with EHR systems, preferably Kareo, Tebra, or similar. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
