Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation | Sexual Health About Us We are a specialized medical practice in Fredericksburg, VA focused on physical medicine, rehabilitation, and sexual health. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a professional and respectful environment. We believe every patient deserves individualized attention and evidence-based treatment. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is professional, empathetic, and comfortable working in a specialized clinical setting that includes sensitive health topics. Prior experience in a specialty practice is a plus. Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaint Assist physician with examinations and procedures Prepare and maintain clean, organized exam rooms Administer medications or injections as directed and within scope of practice Be comfortable with male and female sexual health treatment Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record (EHR) Handle patient calls, scheduling, and follow-up coordination Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all patients
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain professionalism and sensitivity when addressing intimate health topics Proficiency with EHR systems (or willingness to learn) Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Preferred:
