Job Description

Are you a highly organized, dependable, and friendly Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) looking for a rewarding career in a well-established and expanding Family Medicine practice? We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to work closely with one of our talented providers, ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering top-notch care. This role requires a team player with excellent multitasking skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate patient flow and ensure efficiency in the office Triage and room patients, recording vitals in the EMR Manage lab specimens and diagnostic test orders Prepare, clean, and stock examination rooms Return patient calls, answer clinical questions, and provide timely communication Coordinate medication delivery, injection administration, and prior authorizations Assist with securing referrals and coordinating with pharmaceutical representatives Perform additional administrative and clinical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Medical Assisting certification (required) Prior medical assisting experience (preferred), especially in primary care Proficient in computer and EMR systems (experience with EMDs is a plus) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, friendly, and outgoing personality Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Schedule:
4 ½ days per week 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (half-day schedule every week, out by 12 or 1 p.m.) Every five weeks, work four 10-hour days with Friday off
