Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision of the Director of Radiology, Operations Supervisor and the clinical direction of the section Team Leaders, the Radiology Medical Assistant I is responsible for basic clinical duties needed in preparing a patient for a Radiology procedure. The Radiology-MA I works collaboratively with the clinical and support services teams to assure efficient and effective operations in the department while maintain confidentiality of all patients' records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by the policies and procedures of the department. Patient and family-centered care is essential to this role.
EDUCATION
High school graduate with good interpersonal and computer skills.
EXPERIENCE
One to three years experience in a medical office setting preferred
