Job Description
Description Cold Hollow Family Practice is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in our office in Enosburg Falls! CHFP is a high functioning Patient Centered Medical Home managing 3,000 primary care patients from birth through end of life. We offer the full spectrum of family medicine including chronic disease, urgent care, screening and prevention, substance abuse, office-based procedures and pediatrics. We are seeking an energetic medial assistant, who can function at a very high level within the clinical team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, rooming 20+ patients per day, engaging patients in setting chronic disease management goals, drawing venous and capillary blood samples, running point-of-service laboratories, assisting the providers in office procedures, administering injections, and detailed documentation of patient history and chief complaint. Between visits, clinical staff triage patient messages and prescription requests. The culture of the team at Cold Hollow Family Practice is very high-touch service for our patients who rely on our knowledge to navigate the complexities of health care and doing today's work today. We do not make patient wait for days to take care of their needs. The clinical staff is also responsible for panel management including managing lists of patients to identify care gaps, conducting patient outreach/reminders, and scheduling follow up visits, labs and screening. Knowledge and experience with EHR software is a must. Experience using Medent EHR is desirable.
Pay:
Starting at $22 per hour for certified medical assistants Expected hours: Minimum of 3 days per week-Full timeBenefits:
