Responsibilities include:
Welcoming and rooming patients Recording vital signs and medical histories Performing blood draws, injections, immunizations, EKGs, and point-of-care testing Assisting providers with examinations and procedures Coordinating annual wellness visits and preventive health screenings Preparing and maintaining accurate electronic medical records Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, referrals, and test results Assisting with scheduling, insurance authorizations, and front office support as needed Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Qualifications Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program Minimum one year of experience in an outpatient physician practice Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills Please note that MA-R and Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credentials do not meet the requirements for this position.
