Part-Time (20-30 hours per week)
Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience About Us We are a busy, patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeking a dependable, motivated Medical Assistant/Medical Office Assistant who enjoys working closely with patients while helping keep the office running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is organized, and takes pride in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties Welcome and room patients Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories Prepare exam rooms and assist the provider during patient visits Clean and stock examination rooms Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) MIPS compliance in charts Administrative Duties Answer multi-line phones professionally Schedule patient appointments Verify insurance eligibility Obtain prior authorizations Process referrals Assist with medical billing and coding (experience preferred) Check patients in and out Collect copays and balances Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred; experienced Medical Assistants encouraged to apply Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience preferred Experience with EMR systems Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, compassionate, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Internal Medicine Specialty Clinic Medical Billing Prior Authorizations Referrals Electronic Medical Records (EMR) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Supportive and respectful work environment Flexible part-time schedule Opportunity for additional hours if needed Schedule Monday-Friday No evenings No weekends Flexible daytime hours How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your medical experience and why you would be a great addition to our team.
