Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant will support physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced retina specialty practice. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient service. Responsibilities Room and prepare patients for examination and treatment Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs Assist physicians with clinical procedures as needed Perform administrative duties, including scheduling and patient communication Maintain accurate electronic medical records Prepare examination rooms and ensure clinical equipment is ready for use Follow all clinic policies, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required Previous medical office or ophthalmology experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a team environment Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Basic computer and electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency Schedule Part-time position Opportunity for additional hours based on clinic needs Benefits Competitive hourly pay Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.
