Why You'll Love Working Here Advanced Dermatology & Skin Surgery is one of the Inland Northwest's leading dermatology practices, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services across Eastern Washington and North Idaho. Whether you're new to dermatology or already have experience, we'll provide the training and support you need to build your skills in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology while working alongside experienced providers who enjoy teaching and mentoring. What You'll Do As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside board-certified dermatologists and advanced practice providers, helping deliver outstanding care in both clinic and surgical settings. In this role, you will: Assistproviders with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures. Room patients, obtain medical histories, record vital signs, and document visits using EMA (ModMed). Prepare patients for exams, biopsies, surgeries, and cosmetic procedures while providing education and compassionate support. Perform clinical skills including injections, suture removal, dressing changes, specimen collection, medication preparation, and sterile surgical assisting. Maintain efficient patient flow while ensuringaccuratedocumentation, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and patient safety. This position requires travel between our Spokane and Coeur d'Alene clinic locations.
