Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient experiences. Whether working in outpatient clinics, hospital environments, or specialized units, your expertise will help improve health outcomes and enhance patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout their visit Support physicians with clinical tasks such as administering medications, performing basic life support (BLS), and assisting with X-ray procedures when applicable Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment plans Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to support diagnosis and treatment strategies Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a welcoming environment Experience Prior experience working in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine settings is highly desirable Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Experience working in inpatient or outpatient environments within Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous Familiarity with X-ray procedures, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), OR (Operating Room) experience, or geriatrics care is a plus Strong background in medical-surgical nursing or internal medicine enhances your ability to excel in this role Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations This position is ideal for motivated healthcare professionals eager to make a meaningful difference while advancing their careers. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
