Hazelton, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia Estimated Contract Start Date:
October 01, 2025
Schedule:
The work schedule shall not exceed 120 sessions per week (40 sessions per contract employee) whereby one session equals one hour of service. The weekly schedule will normally consist of either five 8-hour workdays or four 10-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will normally be between 0600 and 1800, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The number of sessions per week and the session hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience Contract employee providing medical assistant services must meet all the following requirements: Must possess valid certification/licensure as a medical assistant from an accredited institute/program.
Examples of such certifications include:
a. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) b. National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) c. Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health career Association (NHA) Have valid certification/licensure to practice in the state of West Virginia as a medical assistant. The individual must possess proof of their current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration.
