Job Description
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the pediatric office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner and with a happy attitude. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Check with patients and enter patient's charts Assist during medical examinations Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Answer the phone upwards 50-75 times a day Be willing to work the front. Skills Given Immunizations Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Work 8 hour shifts Ability to go between clinics and work with a variety of people
