Job Description
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. You will work remote. - Commitment to employee voice Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education. In lieu of a medical coding education, an active coding certification is required. Required Graduate of a Health Information Technology program. Preferred Work Experience
- 2 years Two years of progressive inpatient facility coding experience. Required
- 2 years Two or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an Academic Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center. Preferred Licensure and Certifications
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA). Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC). Required
