Medical Coder

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Coder. Certification is preferred. Experience with Epic and Tebra is a plus. We are looking for an individual who has experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS, is detail-orientated with excellent verbal, written, and time management skills. The successful candidate enjoys and can work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time position.

Job Duties:

• Assign the correct CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCs codes to bill insurance providers
• Determine the correct code(s) from provider's documentation
• Read and analyze patient records
• Provide education to staff and clients on coding-related topics

Requirements:

• CPC or equivalent certification strongly preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Possess excellent written, grammar, and communication skills
• Possess excellent computer skills, including experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Good attendance and punctuality Possess the ability to read and interpret provider's documentation Respond timely to inquiries by patients or clients Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information at all times High school diploma or equivalent

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
