Job Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Coding Specialist is responsible for reviewing provider documentation for coding appropriateness and accuracy and analyzing medical records to assign standard diagnosis and procedure codes.

Responsibilities include:

diagnosis and procedure coding for clinic visits and physician

IP/OP/SDS

profession fees, insurance eligibility and rebilling denials. The specialist will interact with other team members to assist with inquiries regarding coding, documentation, denials and billing, insurance requirements and RHC regulations. Will administer precise attention to detail when entering and assigning codes to accounts.
