The coder will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director and/or designee. The candidate should be qualified to perform such tasks as, but not limited to, proficiently assigning ICD-9-CM and CPT codes following coding guidelines, proficiently use 3M coding software, and maintain an educational relationship with coders and physicians and other duties commensurate with their ability as requested by their supervisor. The individual should have good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
