Certified Professional Coder /

Professional Review Specialist Location:

East Hartford, CT (Hybrid) We are seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) to join our healthcare team. In this hybrid role, you'll review medical records, assign accurate ICD and CPT codes, evaluate billing accuracy and medical necessity, and support claims and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities:

Review medical records, billing, and claims for accuracy and compliance Analyze medical necessity and treatment plans Document findings and communicate review outcomes Maintain productivity and quality standards (98% audit accuracy)

Qualifications:

CPC or CPC-A certification required Associate degree or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of ICD, CPT, and medical terminology Experience with medical bill auditing and coding required Surgical coding and workers' compensation experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work across multiple monitors Strong analytical skills and attention to detail If you're a detail-oriented medical coder looking to make an impact in a collaborative healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you!

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
