Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Coder to accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for outpatient surgical procedures across multiple specialties. This position involves performing coding audits, providing virtual coding education, and ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement. Key Responsibilities Accurately assign codes for outpatient surgical procedures. Perform coding audits to identify missed revenue and compliance risks. Provide virtual coding education to physicians and practice managers. Review clinical documentation and payer policies for reimbursement. Conduct research on coding and billing issues and recommend improvements. Develop educational materials for providers and junior coders. Stay current with coding guidelines and regulations. Collaborate with physicians to resolve coding-related discrepancies. Support department restructuring and assist in onboarding new coders. Qualifications EPIC experience. 2-5 years of PB coding experience, ideally in gastroenterology or general surgery. At least 1 year of experience with GI surgeries. Proficient in CPT, HCPCS, and

ICD-10-CM

coding. CPC, COC, or equivalent certification preferred.

MUST HAVE PB EXPERIENCE

Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to develop educational materials and mentor junior staff. Additional Requirements This is a fully remote role with a flexible schedule.
