Your expertise will help optimize revenue cycles while providing exceptional support to our healthcare providers and patients. Duties Prepare and submit accurate medical claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to billing guidelines. Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, verifying that all documentation supports billed services. Code diagnoses and procedures using

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

codes, and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) classifications to ensure precise reimbursement. Manage medical collections by following up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation or coding issues that may impact billing accuracy. Maintain detailed records of billing activities, claim submissions, rejections, and adjustments for audit purposes. Stay current with industry regulations, updates in medical coding standards, and payer policies to ensure compliance. Experience Proven experience in medical billing within a home health or outpatient setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical coding including

ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT

coding, and DRG classifications. Familiarity with EMR systems and EHR platforms used in healthcare billing processes. Solid understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and billing procedures. Experience handling medical collections and resolving claim denials efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex medical documentation accurately. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance is highly valued.
