Job Description

Overview Looking for a Medical Billing and Medical Coder specialist, where your expertise will drive accurate billing processes and ensure seamless coding operations. Familiarity with Eclinical works and Tebra ( Kareo) is a must Duties Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate
ICD-10, CPT
(Current Procedural Terminology), and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) codes accurately. Prepare and submit clean claims using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to insurance companies for reimbursement. Ensure all billing information complies with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines, reducing claim denials. Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims through medical collection procedures to optimize revenue cycle management. Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses or procedures when necessary for precise coding. Experience Proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting, preferably with familiarity in medical office operations. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for data entry, claim submission, and record management. Familiarity with insurance claim processes, medical collection procedures, and revenue cycle management. Knowledge of medical records management practices and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Ability to interpret complex medical documentation and assign precise ICD coding across various specialties.

$1.00 - $2.00 per hour
