Medical Coder CPT and ICD-10 coding

Vega is Hiring ! Medical Coder for a Remote - Contract job opportunity. Candidate must be local to Maryland, DC, Va, or WVA Baltimore, MD and or surrounding areas. Responsibilities will include reviewing provider claims with medical records for prepayment team. The role is to ensure properly coded claims in accordance with AMA, industry standards, and Job requirement: 3 years experience in health care claims/service areas or office support. Two years experience in health care/managed care setting or previous work experience within division Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
