As a Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state . Join our collaborative clinical leadership team and help shape the future of workforce development, clinical excellence, and educational quality across our Health Aide Program. As part of our clinical team, you will work alongside 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and serve as a key member of the department's management leadership. The Medical Director for the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) leads strategic initiatives that align workforce capabilities with organizational goals, program priorities, and statewide standards. This role serves as the collaborating physician for CHAP instructors and APP s , ensuring clinical competency through chart reviews, case consultation, and professional oversight. The Medical Director also provides leadership in i nstruction, quality assurance, curriculum development, and competency systems design to support both classroom and virtual learning environments Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team, make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
Work Schedule:
