We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Medical Director to lead our integrated primary care program while maintaining an active outpatient practice. This unique role offers the opportunity to combine meaningful patient care with physician leadership. Approximately 75% of your time will be dedicated to direct patient care, while 25% will focus on clinical leadership, provider development, quality improvement, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for adult patients. Lead and mentor physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and clinical teams. Partner with behavioral health providers to deliver integrated, whole-person care. Advance quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives. Support provider recruitment, onboarding, and professional development. Collaborate with operational leaders to improve access, workflows, and care delivery. Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Qualifications Required Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Current or eligible Arizona medical license. Current DEA registration. Minimum five (5) years of outpatient primary care experience. Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills. Preferred Previous Medical Director, Lead Physician, or physician leadership experience. Experience in integrated primary care, behavioral health, community health, or value-based care. Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
