This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving quality patient care initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive medical management experience, and a passion for advancing healthcare standards. As a key leader, you will collaborate with medical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to promote excellence in clinical practice and operational efficiency. Duties Provide strategic leadership and oversight of clinical services across the regional network, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. Develop and implement policies that adhere to healthcare regulations such as
HIPAA, FDA
regulations, NCQA standards, and other applicable laws. Monitor and improve clinical quality metrics through data analysis, utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to track patient outcomes and operational performance. Lead efforts in utilization management, medical records review, and compliance audits to optimize patient care delivery while maintaining regulatory adherence. Supervise medical staff including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals; foster professional development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate on clinical research initiatives and support clinical development projects to advance innovative care practices. Manage budgets related to regional operations, ensuring resource allocation aligns with organizational priorities while maintaining cost-effective practices. Ensure all clinical activities meet hospital standards, NCQA accreditation requirements, and adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations. Facilitate communication between hospitals, clinics, managed care organizations, and external regulatory bodies to promote seamless patient care coordination. Skills Proven expertise in managed care principles and healthcare management strategies. Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems and medical records management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical development processes. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with supervising experience in hospital or healthcare settings. Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with FDA regulations governing medical devices and pharmaceuticals relevant to clinical practice. Deep understanding of utilization management processes aimed at optimizing patient outcomes efficiently. Ability to interpret research data and incorporate evidence-based practices into clinical protocols. Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation within healthcare environments. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for protecting patient information. Effective communication skills for engaging with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
