Clinic Medical Director Role Summary:
Senior medical authority for the contract; provides clinical oversight of all occupational medicine services at the AFRC Health Unit. Available to the Site Manager and NP/PA during health unit working hours. Coordinates scheduled on-site days with the

Start Date:
July / August 2026. Mandatory Certifications /
Licenses:
MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathy). State of California Medical License, verified by the Medical Board of California•obtained within 12 months of contract start; replacement doctors must meet this immediately. FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner designation. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Basic Life Support (Provider), certified by the American Heart Association (AHA). Additional Mandatory Certifications•Required ONLY if no NP/PA is staffed CAOHC certification (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation). Completion of the NIOSH Spirometry Course. FMCSA Medical Examiner certification and registration.
