Medical Records Director Job Type:
Full Time Salary:
$52k- $58k Annual Commensurate with Experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications 2-4 years previous experience in medical records preferred; knowledge of ICD coding and supervisory experience preferred Skilled Nursing Facility experience required High school diploma or equivalent required Must have knowledge of medical terminology Commitment to the Company mission to consistently deliver high quality, person-centered care with dignity, respect, compassion and integrity, and to enrich every life we touch.
Responsibilities:
Establish procedures to be followed in the collection, coding and indexing, and the filing/retrieving of medical records. Collect, Assemble, Index, Check, and File resident charts and personnel records. Ensure that incomplete records/charts are returned to nursing service for correction. Ensure that registries are properly maintained for admission and discharge of residents. Review discharge and death records, as well as records on the nursing units. Why Magnolia Post Acute Care?
